PRODUCT PARAMETER
Multi-purpose: portable instrument or
fixed monitoring;
Spherical design, excellent angular
response;
MCNP simulation calculation of slowing
parameters, excellent energy response;
LSPEC 130 Neutron measuring instrument: Designed to measure dose equivalents around neutrons, the
spherical design complies with the recommendations of the International Commission on Radiological
Protection (ICRP), has good energy and angular response, and can be used as a portable or stationary
instrument. The energy response of the detector was optimized by using a moderating body composed
of carbon-doped polyethylene and cadmium-doped heavy metal and a He-3 neutron counter tube. The
parameters of the moderating sphere were calculated by MCNP simulation.
It is mainly used in nuclear reactor, nuclear fuel cycle in nuclear technology application, spent fuel
transportation and recovery, nuclear and biological protection system and other fields.
