Aerogel thermal insulation thick coating

Aerogel thermal insulation thick coating is made by using equipment independently developed by our company, and special polymer resin emulsion and preferred SiO2 aerogel, hollow glass microspheres and other materials are prepared by secondary fusion process, forming a dense thermal insulation layer on the surface of the substrate, which can effectively block the conduction of sunlight and radiant heat in the air, reduce the heat exchange between the inside and the outside, and play a role in thermal insulation.

Insulation principle:

The coating effectively blocks heat transfer through conduction, radiation and convection

Blocking radiation - infinite insulation board effect
The numerous small hollow micropores make the number of interfaces in the coating film tend to be infinite, which can make the material have a lot of reflective interfaces, making the radiation heat conduction very difficult. In addition, the pores in the aerogel are nano-scale pores with extremely low volume density, and each pore wall acts as an insulation board, reducing the radiation heat transfer to almost the lowest limit.

Blocking conduction - infinite path effect
The thermal conductivity of hollow glass microspheres is extremely low, and the aerogel has nearly infinite nanopores. When heat is transferred in the solid, it can only be transferred along the pore wall. The nearly infinite pore wall reduces the ability of heat conduction to near the minimum limit.

Blocking convection - close to vacuum state
Hollow glass microspheres are micrometer-level hollow closed spheres, containing rarefied gas inside, with extremely low thermal conductivity, and the mesh pores inside the aerogel are only 20-50 nanometers. The coating is close to a vacuum state, and convection heat transfer is not easy to occur.

Oil storage tank:
This project is close to the coast and has been corroded by sea breeze and rainwater for many years. The tank body had obvious cracking and powdering before. After evaluation, the anti-corrosion and thermal insulation integrated solution was finally adopted, spraying hollow glass and micro-bead thermal insulation coating. After actual use, it has been unanimously recognized and praised by customers.

 

Spherical tank:
The project is located in a tropical monsoon climate area, where the sun and atmospheric radiation heat is relatively strong, there is a lot of rain all year round, and typhoons are frequent. After many comparisons, the designers finally chose an integrated anti-corrosion and thermal insulation solution. The tank surface is sprayed with 2mm hollow glass and micro-bead thermal insulation coating, so that the tank can resist high-intensity corrosion while achieving good thermal insulation effect.

 

Offshore floating production storage and separation unit:
The project ultimately used traditional rock wool insulation materials. During the maintenance process, it was found that the corrosion under insulation (CUI) problem was quite serious. During the maintenance, the original insulation layer was removed and an integrated anti-corrosion and thermal insulation solution was adopted. After cleaning and rust removal, 5 mm hollow glass and micro-bead thermal insulation coating were sprayed. While meeting the process conditions, the CUI problem was completely solved, and the maintenance and overhaul cycle was extended, which effectively improved the operating efficiency and achieved significant economic results.

 

Dispersion cylinder:
Dispersion cylinder is a common equipment used in the production process of the chemical industry. The temperature of the cooling circulating water in the jacketed dispersion steel jacket must be controlled at 15ºC, but the highest temperature in the workshop can reach 35ºC in summer, and the humidity is about 95%. In order to meet the process requirements,the integrated solution of thermal insulation is adopted, and 2.5mm hollow glass beads are sprayed for thermal insulation. The thermal insulation coating completely solves the various problems caused by condensation.

 

Heating furnace
The heating furnace facade adopts an integrated thermal insulation solution. Spraying 2mm hollow glass microbead thermal insulation coating can reduce the surface temperature by 24 degrees Celsius, reduce the heat dissipation of the external surface by 69%, and increase the thermal efficiency of the heating furnace by about 1.1%.

 

Normal temperature storage tank:
Normal temperature storage tanks should have a large temperature difference with the outdoor temperature, which is easy to produce condensation water, causing corrosion of the tank body. The anti-corrosion, thermal insulation and heat insulation integrated solution is adopted. After cleaning and rust removal, hollow glass and micro-bead thermal insulation coating are sprayed, which completely solves the various problems caused by condensation.

 

Grain and oil storage tanks:
Due to the construction limitations on the top, traditional insulation cannot meet the requirements, and the heat loss on the top of the equipment is serious. Most traditional fiber mineral cotton insulation materials contain high SiO2-, Na+, Cl-, and F- ions. At the same time, the characteristics of its open-pore structure easily lead to water vapor accumulation, which accelerates the corrosion of the lower substrate of the insulation material (CUI). Finally, the anti-corrosion, thermal insulation and heat insulation integrated solution was adopted to effectively solve the CUI problem and save maintenance costs.

 

Grain and oil refining factory:
The refining filtration equipment is an irregular semicircular body. The filter screen needs to be replaced frequently. Traditional insulation cannot meet the requirements. The equipment has been exposed to 130ºC. The surface is easy to cause burns to personnel and the heat loss is large. The integrated solution of thermal insulation is adopted. Hollow glass is used. The microbead thermal insulation coating is sprayed with three millimeters. The surface temperature drops by about 60ºC. The unit saves significantly and the investment cost can be recovered in half a year.

 

Vulcanizer:
The equipment generates high temperature and is exposed during the production process. It is easy to cause burns, condensation, heat loss and other problems. Finally, the integrated solution of thermal insulation is adopted. Hollow glass is used as the main thermal insulation coating at 170ºC to 180ºC. The surface is sprayed with ten millimeters of vulcanizer. The surface temperature can drop by 60ºC. The benefit can be doubled for each increase in spraying thickness.

 

Grain and oil blade filter:
The surface temperature of the equipment is maintained at around 7ºC, there is a lot of condensed water, and the surface of the equipment is seriously rusted. The traditional insulation material needs to be dismantled every year for inspection and repair, which not only affects production but also increases costs. The integrated anti-corrosion and thermal insulation solution is adopted. The three-millimeter hollow glass micro-beads are sprayed on the surface of the equipment to effectively solve the condensation problem and avoid corrosion problems. Inspection and renovation work is carried out every year.

Roof:
The roof of this project adopts an integrated solution of waterproofing, heat preservation and heat insulation, and achieves the effect of waterproofing and heat insulation at the same time.

 

Container building:
Since the container is a metal structure with a large thermal conductivity, in order to obtain a good indoor thermal environment, an integrated solution of heat preservation and heat insulation is adopted, spraying hollow glass, micro-bead heat preservation and heat insulation coating, which effectively improves the indoor temperature.

The integrated solution of waterproofing, heat preservation and heat insulation effectively solves the problem of cold in winter and hot in summer in the venue.
 

 

Factory buildings are usually large in area and high in height. Machinery and equipment emit heat during the production process.
